 You live here too?! Well I'm in Hastings which is south of Mpls. Do you have anyone to go with? Are you staying overnight anywhere? I'm getting a hotel for 2 nights, gonna make it a whole weekend of exploring Madison, seeing Foxy, and being the hell away from my family LOL

I'm in Brooklyn Park, so I'm not too far from you. Yeah, me and my sister are going together. We are spending the night there, but we are probably just going to find somewhere close to the saloon when we get there. I've been through Madison a few times but never really explored much, so we're going to kind of play it by ear. I just couldn't miss seeing Foxy again! (I missed them when they were at First Ave) Who are you going with?

Oh you have to book a hotel now, all the hotels near the venue are fully booked for graduation weekend! I tried 2 weeks ago and the closest one I could find was like 5 miles from the venue! It sucks, I wanted to walk there and have some drinks but now I'll have to behave myself (somewhat ;D) so I can drive back to the hotel that night! I'm going alone, the only people I know who like them either live in other states or they have other concerts to go to that weekend!  |

Oh jeez! Thanks for letting me know. I was planning on having some drinks also, maybe I'll just have to take a cab or something. Hopefully there will be a hotel not too far still available! If you think you'll be too lonely there we could meet up at some point. It's never a bad idea to know Foxy Fans in the area!

I dont like cabs, I'd much rather drive myself then I can crank my music! ;D Oh yeah we should meet up there, inside the venue at least! Are you on Twitter or FB?

Lol, thanks for the advice!! Either way I'll let you know whenever I figure out our plan as far as the show goes. We should at least meet up before the show, do you think the venue will be open in time for a few drinks before the bands start? I want to get there fairly early to kinda scope out the place.

Well from what I've found, the venue is this bar inside of another building that has other businesses in it, so I'm guessing you can walk in anytime, and since it's a bar I can't imagine they wouldn't let people in to have drinks early. One other time I went to a bar for a show, you could go in to watch the soundcheck and all that but then they made everyone go back outside to get let in with everyone else. I am prepared to offer them money to let me stay in there LOL I will be pissed if they let us inside then make us go outside to get in line and the line is 200 people long. Straight up pissed!!

TONIGHTS MY SHOW!!! OMG I'M SO EXCITED I CANT EVEN EAT!!! Will definately post pics in here eventually, but I might not get back to my hotel early enough since it's a pretty late show. Then tomorrow I head back to Minnesota but I have to repack for my trip to ND for my new job, so I dont know when I'll get back on here but since this place is dead anyway I think you can wait a little longer! ;D

Loved the show - I played it a little too cool and sat on the second level, but stood nearly the whole time anyway!
Saw a few folks snag a playlist so I won't attempt to be accurate, but I'm glad they played stuff from the most recent three albums, it wouldn't have hurt to play something from Flamingo Trigger.
Super high energy as I've seen in clips online, and he closed by eating 6 or so cigarettes, and walking off the stage blindly after saying:
"If I opened my eyes right now, you'd all turn to stone!"
