At the Washington, DC show with The Darkness (so much epic-ness in one room), Eric did his usual bit asking for cigarettes from the crowd.
I'd met these 3 awesome guys outside while in line who were ready for this moment and had filled the pack with 1 cigarette, and the rest were joints.
Eric caught the pack, took a cigarette out, looked closer and replaced that cigarette. He then proceeded to light up a joint onstage. The smell alone lasted for about 10-15 mins but I was up front. It was high quality weed. It was awesome. Eric's face was so stoked.
And those 3 guys were having a total fangirl moment. They met up with Foxy after the show and Eric invited them to any show at any time and wanted to smoke later. Best moment ever!
PS. Eric also asks for lighters following asking for cigarettes so if you are bringing cigarettes, bring lighters too. There weren't a lot of people with those. But obviously he figured it out. Also, he ate that joint when he was done smoking it.

OMG YOU SHOULD SEE MY FACE RIGHT NOW AFTER READING THAT!! it's like a combination of  ;D and  WOW!! How fucking awesome, I would have loved to be at that show!! That is the best Foxy story I have ever heard, hands down!! |

Here's another picture from the show. The heavenly Alex Nauth is holding up Eric.  It was all too much for words. I wish it had lasted days. Haha. I wish I had taken video, but it's just something you watch happening and you're so stunned you can't even think "CAMERA!" You just want to experience it. Best concert of my life hands-down. And I've been to more than I can count on my fingers and toes. |

God damn! That sounds unbelievable. Foxy have yet to come to Ireland and if they have already I will kick myself! The Darkness did a tour here but Foxy weren't supporting them which is disappointing!  I hope I have as good as an experience as you had! Cigarettes and lighter in hand. Saying that though Ireland has a big smoking ban in Venues so doubt they will be able to =[ |

I hope they play near you soon...I really don't even know if or when they've ever played Ireland or any other countries for that matter. Well I'm pretty sure they played England since they have that video series they filmed there. |

Thank you! I had a wonderful time that I will never forget and I'm glad you enjoyed the story and pics.
Just about every state I can think of in the US has indoor smoking bans. Even in my state where tobacco used to be a major cash crop, no smoking is allowed. And it goes without saying that smoking pot indoors is not exactly legal. I fully think the clubs know what they're getting themselves into when they book Foxy. And Foxy with The Darkness? Yeah.
Also, we're talking about Eric Nally. I can imagine him saying:
"Laws are pieces of paper. Foxy Shazam are living, breathing ethereal beings. What can words written on a piece of paper do to a living, breathing soul? $20 bucks says none of ya'lls laws can arrest me."
If you'd like to see more from that show I will happily link them from my facebook. They're all high quality. It's the best show I have ever been to. But I'm also a large Darkness fan too and they haven't toured here (USA) in 7 years (and I couldn't go the first time around) so I cherished every second (except the God-awful openers Crown Jewel Defense).

Well I thought it was the whole US but I guess it could be just my state, I don't pay much attention to other states rules! ;D But here you can't smoke anywhere indoors, not even venues or bars/clubs. How far would a flight be to London from where you are? I'm telling you, if you have to fly there to see this band, it's so worth it!! |

Oh I hope they don't make that mistake! If they want good business, they gotta get the bands that pull in the most people! I've heard they are selling out everywhere!! ;D Eric is a rock God. |

Yeah they're selling out. I mean if a club's smart it's gonna book the band that brings the money and so far they've done that. Now, on the 2 Panic dates I saw Foxy, Eric did not do the cigarette thing. But I almost peed myself when he lit that joint. And tell me I didn't nail a hypothetical Eric quote on the head!

Hmm I guess it depends on the time of the week for the price of flights! Hopefully this summer they might be around some festival dates!
I just cannot wait till my first Foxy show, it will be glorious!

This is just one of my stories from my show (they're all pretty lame, haha!).
I don't know if any of you where at the Church Release Show, but the entire show, Eric kept coming over to my side of the stage and looking me in the eyes and pointing at me. Then, before they went into Ghost Animals, Eric wanted to warn all the "little girls" because he didn't want to break our necks, and I yelled really quick "I can hold you Eric!" and he gave me the most heart-warming smile/look.
It was a pretty important moment in my life. ;D
