Can someone explain the ORIGINAL version of Foxy Shazam? Where is it taken from? Is there a pressed disc [Promo] of this or a Record? I have only so far, found a download.
The original version of "Connect" is far superior to the version on the released CD. It is MUCH better without the backing Choir.
I would love some thoughts and feedback on this.

I think they just recorded demos for a few of the songs, at least I only have heard a few of them that way. I actually prefer the newer version of Connect but I don't dislike the original. I like the rock mix too, have you heard that one?

The Alternate (early) version contains 3 xtra (4 if U count the intro being split) songs plus alternate titles and mixes. "Connect" is one of my favorite songs. I really prefer it without the girl choir vocals. I also wish they would play it more often LIVE. I have heard the Acoustic version but not the "Rock Mix" where can I find that?

Ugh...I just went to find the video for you and it's gone! It WAS on YouTube, that's how I downloaded it and converted it to an mp3. Sorry! I dont know why it isn't showing up now, maybe they took it down?
The acoustic version of Connect!? Are you talking about a totally stripped down version or just the one without the choir?
It's one of my favorites too, in fact it was my #1 for the first few months which is why hearing the original didn't do much for me since I loved the one I was used to.

I had the opposite experience. I had the advanced version 4 a while so when I got the official CD I never bothered 2 compare the 2 versions. I just assumed they were the same. By the time I heard the released version I was so used to the original raw version it was had to get into. The acoustic version is just something the did for Radio promo b4 the album came out. It is just a love / acoustic version.

Is the acoustic version available anywhere? Even in just mp3 form? I'd love to hear that! Their acoustic version of Oh Lord is amazing.
